Over half the Senate calendar are appointments (made by the Governor) that need to be approved.   Doyle and the Democrats are stacking these boards so that a new Governor won’t have the chance to fill the positions until half way through his term or not even at ALL!

Appointments – Roger Axtell – of Janesville , as a member of the UW Hospitals and Clinics Authority and Board, to serve for the term ending July 1, 2015. (Roger voted in 2009 in favor of the UW’s late term abortion plan on viable babies through the 22 week of gestation. It is not appropriate for him to serve a 5-year term on this prestigious board)
