Congress mocks we the people near daily now. Since the inception of the TEA Party movement February of 2009, citizens of the United States have been denigrated by the political class relentlessly. Google(R) Pete Stark (Democrat, CA) today and watch how he answers questions about our porous southern border. These are the kinds of people now occupying our once respected, revered institution of the United States Congress. Once occupied by men of honor. No longer is the case. Contempt is what they feel towards us. We must continue to show strength. We must continue to show our numbers. We must continue to fight.
November is coming.
And with tens of thousands having attended Tea Party rallies across the nation over the past year and a half the Tea Party movement now heads to the Village of Winneconne on Sunday, July 11th at 3pm. Confirmed speakers include Sam “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher, Pat Snyder (radio talk show host), Dr. P. Jake Jacobs (Winneconne High School History Teacher), Dr. John McAdams (Marquette Univ. Professor) and Dr. Duke Pesta (UW-Oshkosh Professor) with many more invited. The rally will last for about an hour and a half and will take place at Winneconne’s Waterfront Park on South First Street.
This fall’s election is about whether we are going to allow politicians to ‘fundamentally change America’ or elect those who believe in America’s traditional values.
Parking is available on the streets surrounding the park as well as boat slips at the park.
